Her performances in Guiding Light as Marina Cooper and Dawson's Creek as Marcy Bender are her most famous roles. Her appearance was on two episodes of Showtime's Weeds with Mary Louise Parker. The actress is famous for her role as Judy Kramer in Point Pleasant which aired in 2005 in the series Point Pleasant, which airs on Fox and also as Marcy Bender in Dawson's creek. In the course of three seasons, she was Marina Cooper in the soap opera Guiding Light in a role that resulted in her receiving an Soap Opera Digest Awards nomination in 2003, for the Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar also played Cindy Thomas in the ABC series Women's Murder Club from 2007-2008. She starred in NBC's 2012 pilot Happy Valley but it was never picked up.
