Charlotte Church

Charlotte Church is a Welsh singer who achieved fame by releasing her first album "Voice of an Angel" as young as twelve years old. Charlotte Church is a talented singer, who also has been a host and actor on a television show. As a child she displayed a natural talent for singing and performed before others around the age of three and a half. In the year she turned 11, she sang over the phone 'Pie Jesu, which is a well-known hymn. The show was followed by a participation in "The Big Big Talent Show" that brought her to the notice of the public. Charlotte was able to play in concert held at Cardiff Arms Park and the Royal Albert Hall. Jonathan Shalit was one of the most prominent entertainment managers in Britain who was able to recognize Charlotte's talent. Jonathan was able to help Charlotte sign the Sony Music contract and then became her manager. In 1999, her debut album "Voice of an Angel" immediately became a smash. The album made Charlotte the first musician of her age to reach an overall top 10 spot. The British cross-country charts placed the album at No. 1. in 1999.
